The community in Boynton Beach is on alert as local authorities continue their search for Arnold Gentry, a 78-year-old man whose disappearance has raised concerns due to his vulnerability. According to CBS12, Gentry was last spotted yesterday around 5 p.m. near the Target located at 650 North Congress Avenue.
Gentry stands 6-foot-2 and weighs approximately 205 pounds. He's battling with the early signs of dementia, which adds a layer of urgency to his safe return. When last seen, he was dressed in a blue long-sleeve shirt, gray pants, and black shoes. It's possible that he took to the roads in his 2016 red Nissan Versa, further complicating the search efforts. The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) has requested the public's eyes and ears, urging individuals to come forward with any information that could lead to locating Arnold.
In a more direct appeal, the BBPD has provided a contact for those who might have seen Gentry or have knowledge of his whereabouts. Detective Daley has been assigned to the case and concerned citizens are encouraged to reach out by calling BBPD Non-Emergency at 561-732-8116. Similarly, the police department took to Instagram, issuing a MISSING PERSON notice to their followers, amplifying the search within the digital community space.
