Last Saturday, the City of Brentwood Police Department reported an armed robbery that ended with a swift response by local law enforcement. The incident occurred around 7:45 PM when the center's security personnel alerted a patrolling officer to the crime. A juvenile victim recounted a harrowing confrontation where one assailant struck him, and another brandished a firearm, demanding his possessions.
Through swift coordination, an officer from the Oakley PD recognized and pulled over the suspected getaway vehicle. The stop resulted in the detention of four juvenile suspects, effectively preventing their escape. The Brentwood officers followed up at the scene, discovering not only a firearm but also the very items stripped from the victim.
According to the information shared by the City of Brentwood Police Department, the apprehended individuals were charged with robbery, conspiracy, and other related offenses. They were transported to Juvenile Hall for booking.
