BrookLynk's Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is opening up its registration for young residents of Brooklyn Park or Brooklyn Center, aged 16-24. This program, which spans over 15 weeks, is designed to engender essential business skills, boost confidence, and facilitate connections within a supportive entrepreneurial community.
Participants who complete the YEP workshops will not only emerge with a foundational understanding of how to navigate the business world, they'll also get a shot at presenting their ideas in a "Shark Tank"-like competition. Successful pitches have the possibility to secure a $1,500 microgrant. In addition, the program offers a pathway to explore future paid internships through the BrookLynk network. The next session for the Youth Entrepreneurship Program is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. It includes a meal from 5:30-6:00pm before the workshop begins, running from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The venue for this transformative experience is the Zanewood Recreation Center, located at 7100 Zane Ave N in Brooklyn Park, MN.
