According to a social media post by the City of Burnsville - Municipal Government, the latest emissions assessment highlighted this dramatic reduction since the base year of 2005, accomplishing a goal set for 17 years in the future.
The report comes with a backdrop of increased activity within the city. Despite the challenges of heating and cooling more space, pumping 27% more water, and an upsurge in demand for services aligned with a growing population, the City appears to remains steadfast in its commitment to environmental stewardship.
