Mayor Kevin Hartke, together with the City Council, is gearing up to present the annual State of the City event at the Chandler Center for the Arts located on 250 N. Arizona Ave. on Thursday, February 13. In an offering to the constituents, they're rolling out the red carpet at 5:30 p.m. for a pre-event reception teeming with community networking, family-oriented activities, and complimentary culinary delights courtesy of several local favorites.
Before the headlining address kicks off at 6:30 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to engage in what the city has dubbed the "Lobby Experience." Kids can dive into play in the activity area laid out just for them, and adults can savor free food samples provided by the likes of SanTan Brewing Company, Ghett Yo Taco, Feringhee Modern Indian Cuisine, and Quiches & Pies.
