The Chatham Community Library is hosting a free Winter Seed Sowing class for residents interested in gardening. The class will take place on Thursday next week from 11:30 a.m. to noon at the library’s Holmes Family Meeting Room, located at 197 NC Hwy N., Pittsboro, NC 27312.
According to the Chatham County News, during the session, participants will learn about winter sowing, a technique used to grow vegetables, flowers, and herbs in colder months. Attendees will discover a simple and affordable method of starting seeds outdoors using repurposed containers.
As space may be limited, those interested in attending are encouraged to register early.
