Hines-Hakande was last spotted on January 16, 2025, according to the Chicago Police Department's missing person announcement. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 165 lbs, he is described as a Black male with brown eyes, black hair styled in shoulder-length braids, and a dark complexion.
Seen last in the vicinity of the 4800 block of S. Michigan Ave, Hines-Hakande was wearing a black and gray jacket with a hood, gray sweatpants, and black gym shoes. Known for his frequent use of the Blue Line, and for walking around O’Hare Airport, anyone with information may have crossed paths with him in these locations.
The Chicago Police Department's Area One SVU is leading the investigation and has issued an appeal to anyone who may have information regarding Hines-Hakande's current whereabouts. The missing man's family and friends await any news that could lead to his safe return.
Community members who might have seen Hines-Hakande or possess any information pertinent to the case are encouraged to step forward.
