Fox 32 Chicago reports a chance of light snow or flurries tonight and early Saturday, but without expectation of significant accumulation, with temperatures rising to the upper teens overnight before inching upward to around 20 degrees by Saturday morning.
The coming Sunday suggests a persistence of the tranquil weather pattern, as partly cloudy skies accompany cooler highs in the upper 20s. Looking ahead to Monday, the forecast from the National Weather Service becomes accentuated by an increase in wind velocity, with west southwest breezes of 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph under mostly sunny skies, pushing temperatures to a peak near 39 degrees.
