Reality TV star Chase Chrisley is facing controversy after an alleged assault at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Atlanta last Monday. Chrisley is accused of slapping a manager twice after being asked to leave. The manager called 911, claiming he was assaulted, and the incident was reportedly captured on security cameras, according to FOX5 Atlanta.
Todd Chrisley, star of Chrisley Knows Best, was involved in an incident where he was reportedly intoxicated and refused to leave a venue, according to police. His representative denied the allegations, stating, "Chase Chrisley did the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home" and that "He did not assault anyone." They added that "Chase was simply trying to close out his tab and leave," as stated by US News.
Chrisley was arrested for simple battery after leaving the scene before police arrived. His parents, Todd and Julie, are in prison for financial crimes. Despite a 911 audio clip contradicting his story, Chrisley's representative says the incident was "blown out of proportion." He was released on a $10,000 bond, and the investigation is ongoing, as reported by FOX5 Atlanta.
