In the early morning last Friday, an unidentified individual was captured on surveillance video approaching a residence on the 300 block of Boal Street and stealing a package from the front steps. The incident, which occurred at 3:42 AM, was shared by police on social media to gather tips from the community.
In the Cincinnati Police Department's social media post, the department provided an image of the suspect taken from the footage. They urge anyone with information to contact Officer Howell directly at 513-352-1271. As package thefts continue to plague neighborhoods across the country, Cincinnati residents are reminded to take precautions with their deliveries, such as requiring a signature for packages or utilizing secure delivery options when available, to mitigate the risk of theft.
As the Cincinnati Police work to track down the perpetrator of last Friday's theft, they call on the public's assistance.
