
Tragedy struck the streets of Walnut Creek on Wednesday when a vehicle collided with a bicyclist, resulting in fatal consequences. The Walnut Creek Police Department reported to the scene on N. Main Street near Arroyo Way after the incident was called in at approximately 5:42 AM.
The collision claimed the life of a 49-year-old male bicyclist, who officers found unresponsive upon their arrival, according to the social media post from the Walnut Creek Police Department. Despite the paramedics' efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle's driver in the incident remained, cooperating fully with authorities as they began investigating the tragedy.
