The 2025 Citizen Summit gives Coweta County residents a unique opportunity to engage with local government. Over two days, participants from all five Commission Districts will gain insight into county operations, from administration to courtroom proceedings, according to the Coweta County.
The engagement will begin with a dinner and discussion on March 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Justice Center, allowing attendees to interact with Commissioners and County staff. On March 8, participants will be divided into groups for in-depth sessions at various county facilities starting at 8:30 a.m. Each group will travel by bus to explore key topics like public safety, infrastructure, community development, and operations, as reported by the Coweta County.
There are 40 spots available, with eight people chosen from each district on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested residents can register online through the county’s website. Early registration is recommended due to limited space. The summit aims to connect government officials with the community, as stated by the Coweta County.
