A 24-year-old woman was robbed in broad daylight in the Southwest Garden neighborhood yesterday. The incident occurred near the intersection of Sublette and Reber Place at around 12:20 p.m. A male suspect approached the woman from a gray minivan, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
The suspect demanded her purse and brandished a handgun, forcing the woman to give him her money. He then fled the scene in the minivan. District 2 detectives are investigating the robbery and seeking public help to identify the suspect.
