A Daytona Beach man has been arrested by the Port St. Lucie Police Department after being accused of posing as a hotel security guar. The suspect, 34-year-old Johnny Alonzo Leonard, allegedly targeted two 17-year-olds engaged in intimate activities in their car at WoodSpring Suites, according to a WPTV report.

The incident occurred on Friday last week, when Leonard approached the victims' vehicle, claiming to be hotel security. According to police, he told the teenagers that the police had been called. Leonard, who failed to produce security identification, asked for the victims' IDs and inappropriately searched the male victim's privates.

Following the incident, Leonard allegedly took the female victim's car to drive the male teen to a bus station, where the victim managed to escape and seek help. Police utilized GPS data and surveillance footage to corroborate the victim's testimony and eventually tracked down Leonard using the number he texted the victim's videos to, as detailed by CBS12.

Leonard is currently facing serious charges, including false imprisonment, larceny, transmission of child pornography, the unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and attempted escape. He was briefly able to remove his handcuffs and leave the interview room but was quickly recaptured and is now held at St. Lucie County Jail on a $185,000 bond. The suspect potentially faces additional charges for impersonating a security guard while committing a felony.
