Starting January 21, DeKalb County will begin the Malone Drive Water Line Repair Project, which will replace a 60-foot section of 30-inch ductile iron pipe along Malone Drive, between Peachtree Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The project is expected to last about a month, from January to February, depending on weather conditions. Residents and commuters in the area should prepare for construction during this time, according to the DeKalb County.
Residents should note that the normal hours for construction are slated for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., from Monday to Friday, holidays being the exception. Construction will cause increased noise and traffic in the area, leading to minor disruptions for residents and workers, as reported by the DeKalb County.
