
Residents in DeKalb County along McAfee Road faced water service disruptions due to a six-inch water main break near Nettie Court and Willie Way. Crews quickly responded to repair the damage, though some locals experienced low or no water pressure. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the break was not severe but caused inconvenience.
The DeKalb County Watershed Department was on-site and took immediate action to resolve the issue. Residents experiencing decreased water pressure were advised to contact the department at [email protected] or call (770) 270-6243 for assistance.
Repair efforts continued overnight to prevent further complications and ensure water service was restored before the yesterday morning commute. As reported by Atlanta News First, the repair was completed successfully, preventing the water from freezing and posing a hazard to drivers.
