Residents in Englewood are kicking off the new year with a chance to boost their wellness goals while keeping some cash in their pockets, thanks to a deal on annual passes to local recreation centers. Englewood and Malley Recreation Centers are offering a $25 discount on annual passes when paid in full between now and January 31. This discount, as first reported on the city's official website, aims to encourage community members to take a more active role in their health and fitness as 2025 gets underway.
In addition to the discounted annual passes, the recreation centers have decided to temporarily waive commitment fears for those looking to dabble in fitness before diving in fully. From January 20 through 25, Englewood and Malley Recreation Centers are inviting residents to try out select fitness classes for free, with no month-long commitment looming over their heads. According to the City of Englewood, available classes encompass a range including Aqua HIIT, Aqua Power, and Aqua Dance, alongside Pickleball Instruction, and classes catering to the younger crowd such as Toddler & Me Dance and Toddler and Me Tumbling.
The effort to promote a healthier community isn't just a seasonal trend, it aligns with a broader vision of wellness that Englewood has been fostering. Officials hope that, by offering this January incentive, more residents will take the first step towards making lasting lifestyle changes. This latest promotion adds to a series of initiatives that Englewood officials have introduced in recent years, aimed at providing affordable access to fitness and enriching recreational activities.
