The Town of Farragut is making strides in optimizing traffic flow with the Advanced Traffic Management System. This week, officials have been testing a new traffic signal timing plan that has significantly improved efficiency compared to the previous one, according to the Town of Farragut. During this period of adjustment, drivers are encouraged to be patient as the town works through any transitional challenges.
Looking ahead, an additional traffic signal timing plan is slated for deployment next week, as reported by the Town of Farragut. The objective remains unwavering: to achieve peak efficiency, particularly along the Kingston Pike corridor.
Farragut is also set to welcome a new addition to their traffic management crew—a fresh traffic signal technician ready to dive into the dynamics of this ever-evolving system. With the full Engineering Department poised for comprehensive training on the new traffic features.
"We ask for your patience as we adjust the system with the goal of making traffic flow as efficient as possible," said a statement on the town’s website.
