The woman was walking westbound in the south crosswalk when an unknown vehicle, traveling northbound on Genesee, collided with her before fleeing the scene.
The victim, whose age remains undisclosed, was promptly rushed to a local hospital following the impact. Sadly, despite the efforts of medical professionals, she was later pronounced deceased.
