
A former high school athletic director from Auburn, Massachusetts, has been arrested after being charged with disseminating obscene material to a minor. Curtis Field, 29, who hails from Vernon, Connecticut, turned himself in to the Auburn Police Department following an investigation prompted by the Auburn Public Schools Administration.
The inquiry into Field's conduct began on January 22, 2025, when concerns were to be brought forth about his online interactions with a student. Detectives from the Auburn Police Department worked extensively on the case, ultimately acquiring a warrant for his arrest. Field now faces legal repercussions for his alleged actions and was officially arraigned at the Worcester District Court following his surrender to the authorities, as stated in a Facebook post by the Auburn MA Police Department.
During his arraignment, Field was released on a $500 cash bail. The court has imposed strict conditions, mandating that Field have no contact with any victims and must stay away from both Auburn and Spencer schools. Moreover, he is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with individuals under the age of 16. These measures are in place to potentially safeguard the community while the investigation continues.
