Commuters in Frisco, brace yourselves for another round of roadwork delays starting this week. City officials announced the latest projects impacting traffic flow. With multiple ongoing pavement replacement operations and intersection improvement projects, local travelers are advised to plan and expect disruptions.
The sites slated for pavement replacement are Northbound Teel Parkway at Timber Ridge Drive, Plantation Lane at Lebanon Road, and Westbound Panther Creek Parkway at Grayhawk Boulevard. Frisco City's official website has posted the details of these projects. Officials expect the work to be completed in approximately two weeks, but this timeline hinges on favorable weather conditions.
Additionally, significant intersection improvements are expected to impede traffic with daily lane closures scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Affected intersections include Warren Parkway at Preston Road, which began developments on January 6, Coit Road at SH 121, with anticipated completion in February 2025, and the Stonebrook Parkway at FM 423 junction. This project has been in progress since May 2024.
