Sikes has advanced through various roles in the correctional field, with a background in Sociology from Georgia Southern University. He has completed several training programs, including Basic Correctional Officer Training and the Warden’s Pre-Command. Now a key member of the Georgia Department of Corrections, he helps manage one of the largest prison systems in the U.S., overseeing 49,000 prisoners and 9,000 employees, with a focus on public safety and rehabilitation.
