A small business community in Gilroy suffered a setback when 'My Secret', a local retail store known for custom western-embroidered belts and baseball hats, was burglarized on Christmas.
As reported by the Gilroy Police Department on social media, thieves broke into the 7680 Monterey Suite 101 store. They lifted almost $2,000 worth of merchandise, leaving behind a shattered glass storefront.
A plea for public help was issued after surveillance footage depicting two individuals implicated in the crime was released. "If you recognize either of these thieves, please let us know," the Gilroy Police Department urgently requested in their post.
