Lori German, Glendale's Office of Economic Development's deputy director, told FOX 10 Phoenix, "These are high end, high-paying jobs that are important for this community." She believes Nestlé's presence examines a crucial aspect of Glendale's economic goals, amplified by commitments the company has made toward community integration through partnerships and volunteer projects.
Glendale eyes further growth with VAI Resort construction looming, aiming to capitalize on the anticipated $13 million/year in tax revenues. The project, along with Nestlé's establishment, falls in line with the city's economic expansion vision, German indicated in an interview with FOX 10 Phoenix. "When we have visits with business electors, or different businesses and companies, we make sure we come out full force," she explained.
