The Gwinnett County Police Department has arrested 26-year-old Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres in connection with the death of 24-year-old Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez. He was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during a felony. He was taken into custody without incident and will be transported to Gwinnett County Jail, according to the Gwinnett County.
Officers responded to a stabbing call on Hunters Club Lane in Norcross around 6:00 p.m. They found Hernandez dead in her apartment. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators gathered evidence and interviewed people. Police say the stabbing was the result of a domestic dispute, as reported by the Gwinnett County.
The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office is helping with the investigation, and detectives are asking the public for tips.
