According to a statement made by the Hamblen County Sheriff's Office, they discovered 57-year-old Mark Waller deceased following a reported stabbing on the night of January 1. The suspect in this harrowing incident is identified as Tristan Doan, Waller's 21-year-old stepson, who was reportedly seen fleeing the scene immediately after the attack.
After coordinating an intensive search, deputies and the Morristown Police Department were able to locate Doan. The young man was arrested yesterday morning, with the Hamblen County Sheriff's Office charging him with first-degree murder.
