A man from Hayward has been taken into custody on suspicion of sexual assault at a Millbrae massage parlor, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office confirms. The suspect, 47-year-old Guosheng Chen, faces serious allegations of having conducted unwanted and inappropriate sexual contact with a female client during a session last Sunday, which the victim reported only hours after the incident reportedly occurred.
Chen was arrested yesterday with help from the Hayward Police Department, being accused of oral copulation, sexual penetration, and battery involving an unconscious person, as the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Details concerning the unconscious state of the victim during the massage have not been provided by the police.
After the arrest warrant was issued with a bail set at $400,000 on Tuesday, Chen was subsequently booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility. It has come to light that the accused has previously worked in multiple counties, including Alameda, Contra Costa, San Diego, and San Mateo, prompting officials to consider the possibility of additional victims who have yet to be identified. In a statement, the sheriff's office indicated that resources had been offered to the victim before they launched their investigation.
