
The Boston Police Department is inviting community members to consider a career in public service through the upcoming Civil Service Exam. Officers from South Boston’s District C-6 and Roxbury’s District B-2, along with the Bureau of Community Engagement, held a recruitment event at South Bay Mall, according to the Boston Police Department.
At the recruitment event, officers spoke with mall visitors, providing information about the Civil Service Exam and the role of a Boston police officer. Boston Police Department stated, "We had great conversations with visitors, sharing details about the Civil Service Exam and what it means to serve and protect as part of the Boston Police Department."
The Boston Police Department is recruiting for the 2025 Massachusetts Civil Service Exam, with a registration deadline of January 28.
