
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is set to carry out a series of maintenance works across various counties in the Kansas City area, slated for today until Friday, with all activities conditional on suitable weather conditions, MoDOT announced.
In Jackson County, maintenance workers will close the left lane on U.S. Highway 40 at White Cemetery Rd. today, from about 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to engage in ditch and drainage work. Similarly, the following day and extending into Wednesday, the right lane on US-40 at Valley View Dr. will be closed during the same hours, for the same type of work, this series of lane closures continues with Route F, which will see flagging operations towards the week's end for brush cutting purposes.
Lafayette County will experience a full closure on Route PP between Brackman Rd. and St. Louis St. for today, where crews will replace a culvert between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
In Pettis County, Route O will witness various closures from today until Friday, with the maintenance crews working daily on brush cutting from roughly 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. And in Ray County, more flagging operations are scheduled for Route DD and Route A for pavement milling, while Missouri Business Highway 10 and Route EE too, will be fully closed for brush cutting during selected days within the maintenance window.
