Kristopher Holbrook, 20, has been indicted for second-degree murder following the overdose death of an 18-year-old woman in December. He was arrested by the Knoxville Police Department on Friday in a parking lot on Lake Brook Boulevard.
An investigation revealed that Holbrook, 20, sold drugs to a 16-year-old, who then shared them with the victim, leading to her fatal overdose. Holbrook has been indicted on charges of second-degree murder and drug trafficking to a minor, according to the Knoxville Police Department. The evidence was presented to a Knox County Grand Jury.
Kristopher Holbrook was found in possession of drugs and two firearms, including an assault-style pistol, during a recent investigation. Authorities are continuing to review the case, and if convicted, Holbrook could face serious legal consequences, as stated by the Knoxville Police Department.
