Troup County is investigating a possible dog fighting operation. In late December, officials received tips about dog mistreatment, leading to the discovery of 14 dogs and equipment used for dog fighting. Last Thursday, a warrant was executed at a property on the 1300 block of South State Line Road in LaGrange, confirming suspicions of a breeding and dog fighting operation, according to FOX 5 Atlanta and WTVM.
Authorities arrested 44-year-old Jamal Ware during a search on charges of dog fighting and animal cruelty. The investigation is ongoing, and officials are asking anyone with information to contact Troup County or LaGrange law enforcement, as stated by FOX 5 Atlanta.
The Troup County Marshal's Office, following a public tip, uncovered a dog fighting operation, leading to an arrest on charges of "Dog Fighting" and "Cruelty to Animals." Authorities are still investigating and ask for community help. Items found at the scene suggest a well-organized illegal operation. More details will be shared as the investigation continues, as reported by WTVM.
