
Lake Havasu City has announced a temporary road closure on McCulloch Boulevard in anticipation of the upcoming 39th Annual Winterfest Street Festival. According to the city's official press release, the boulevard will be closed from Acoma Boulevard to Smoketree Avenue, commencing early Saturday, February 1 at 2:00 a.m. and will reopen the following day at 8:00 p.m.
For those planning to attend the festivities, the Winterfest will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and continue until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2. The city has urged motorists to take additional care in the vicinity of the festival and to heed guidance from signage, volunteers, as well as law enforcement present.
