Las Cruces Public Libraries announced the workshop, set to take place on February 7 from 3-5 p.m., inviting locals to indulge in the mastery of rolled paper designs. With no prior experience required, the community event opens its doors to those aged 11 and up, as noted by the City of Las Cruces.
Interested participants can find themselves amidst the vibrant hues and delicate swirls of paper in the library's first-floor Craft Room, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave., easily accessible via Roadrunner Transit Route 1. The hands-on program aims to introduce attendees to the basics of quilling, teaching them how to coil paper into decorative flower shapes. As the library spokesperson, Taryne Heredia noted, "No experience is necessary," making it an inclusive event for novices and crafting enthusiasts alike.
