
A man was wounded during an attempted armed robbery in Baltimore on New Year's night, local police report. The incident, which took place in the 2400 block of Saint Paul Street at around 10:18 p.m., resulted in a 47-year-old male victim sustaining a gunshot injury that, fortunately, was non-life-threatening.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, managed to make his way to a nearby hospital shortly after the event. Upon arrival, Eastern District patrol officers were called to investigate the incident, as detailed in a media advisory released by the Baltimore Police Department.
