Memphis Police Department is seeking information on a burglary that occurred earlier this week at a local Dollar Tree store. According to a social media post by the department, three unknown individuals attempted to break into the store's safe on Monday around 5:30 a.m. at the Dollar Tree on South Third Street.
The suspects' failed heist, captured on video surveillance showed them tearing through the wall to gain access to the store, they then headed to the office where they made an unsuccessful attempt to breach the safe before fleeing the scene. All three were described as wearing black hoodies and pants with dark-colored shoes and gloves. The Memphis Police Department has shared video footage and photos of the incident for assistance from the public.
No arrests have been made as the investigation continues, the authorities are encouraging anyone with information to come forward. People can reach out to Crime Stoppers at "(901) 528-CASH," submitting tips anonymously, and may even become eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
