The Memphis Police Department is asking for the public's assistance following a felony vandalism incident at a Walmart on Austin Peay Highway. In a report shared by the department's official Facebook page, several male juveniles reportedly caused a disturbance at the location last Saturday. After being expelled from the store by a security guard, one of the individuals allegedly took his dissatisfaction out on the guard's vehicle.
According to the Memphis Police Department est.1827 Facebook post, after the juveniles were kicked out of the business, "The male pictured above left the store went to the victim’s truck and began to strike the vehicle with a stick, causing over $2,000 in damage to the victim’s vehicle." No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. The department has also shared photos of the suspect involved in the vandalism.
