A serious hit-and-run incident in Memphis has left authorities searching for clues. The Memphis Police Department reported that on Thursday, April 24, 2024, a pedestrian was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle on Jackson Avenue at Orchi Road.
The vehicle, described as a dark-colored pick-up truck with distinguishing features such as dark-tinted windows, black rims, and running boards, was last seen traveling westbound toward Townes Avenue. It is expected to have sustained significant damage to the front-end near the passenger-side headlight. No suspects have been apprehended so far in connection with the crash, and the investigation is still actively underway.
In an attempt to gather more information, the department is reaching out to the community. They have encouraged anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward.
