The Memphis Police Department is seeking information regarding a robbery that took place at a BP Gas Station on Millbranch Road last Friday. A woman was reportedly assaulted while inflating her tire when an unidentified male offered to assist, only to then push her to the ground and steal her vehicle, a 2014 Buick Enclave which has since been recovered.
The incident occurred at the early hour of approximately 4:15 a.m., according to a social media post by the Memphis Police Department. The suspect in question was described as a male around 35-40 years of age, with a height of 5’5” and weighing about 200 lbs. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red hoodie underneath a navy blue one, black sweatpants adorned with white numbers, and black sneakers.
No arrests have been made thus far and the authorities have declared the investigation ongoing. The Memphis Police Department has released photos of the suspect and is requesting anyone with pertinent information to come forward.
