Authorities have contacted the community for assistance following a business burglary at the UPS Credit Union on Brooks Road. The incident occurred early on the morning of December 23, 2024, and involved three suspects who forced entry into the credit union, causing a significant disturbance. According to the officials, after thoroughly ransacking the premises, the perpetrators escaped in a dark-colored sedan. The police are actively seeking information that can help identify and apprehend those responsible for this crime quickly.
The department has issued a call for tips that could lead to an arrest; promising informants would be granted anonymity and potentially eligible to receive a cash reward. "Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH. You will be given a secret ID number, and your identification will remain completely anonymous," the Memphis Police Department stated in a recent Facebook post.
They further advised that tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website or via the ‘P3 Tips’ mobile app, ensuring the informants' security and privacy.
