
The Memphis Police Department is on the lookout for three suspects involved in a December shoplifting incident. The crime occurred at the Ollies store on Polo Grounds Blvd, where three individuals, described as a White female, a Black male, and a White male, reportedly filled shopping carts with various items including space heaters, and then exited the store without rendering payment.
To quickly apprehend the suspects, the Memphis Police Department turned to social media, posting a call for assistance on their official Facebook page. Descriptions of the suspects along with images have been released to the public. According to the department's post, the suspects fled in a white, long-body SUV, which witnesses suggest could have been a Suburban. No arrests have been made as yet in this ongoing investigation.
Detailed descriptions of the suspects were provided in the Memphis Police Department's Facebook post. "Suspect #1 was a White female wearing a black skull cap and brown sweater," the post read. The second suspect was described as "a Black male wearing a black skull cap, black shirt, yellow safety vest, and black pants," and the final suspect, "a White male wearing a brown hat, yellow shirt, brown coat, dark pants, & white shoes." People with any information related to the incident have been encouraged to contact the Appling Farms General Investigation Bureau.
