A deadly blaze claimed the life of one individual in Mesa, following a travel trailer fire that occurred on December 11, which firefighters managed to extinguish. The fire originated near the intersection of Broadway Road and McDonald, east of Country Club Road, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
"Mesa Fire and Medical officials say the fire impinged some propane tanks in the area, which have since been mitigated," as stated by FOX 10 Phoenix, with the area subsequently cordoned off to allow for investigation.
The early morning incident that started just after 5:15 a.m. saw Mesa fire officials rapidly arrive on the scene after reports of the fire came through. In the aftermath of the fire, firefighters found the victim, whose identity remains unknown at this time. The firefighting teams' efforts were successful in stopping the fire from spreading to additional structures. "What caused the fire is not yet known," and the ongoing investigation aims to uncover this information, as per ABC15.
