The Midlothian Police Department in Texas marked a day of community service as the department welcomed a new officer and celebrated a current employee for exceptional performance. A social media announcement revealed the events that unfolded during a private ceremony at the new City Hall.
Officer Paul Czap, a former Arlington Police Department officer and a long-time resident, has officially joined the ranks of Midlothian's finest. With his family and the police command staff present, "he took the oath of office." As detailed by the Midlothian Police Department, Czap has already begun his orientation and will eventually become a part of the Patrol Division.
In a separate accolade, Police Service Officer Todd White was distinguished as the "Non-Sworn Employee of the Quarter" for the final quarter of 2024. White's multifaceted contribution to the department, ranging from serving as the primary evening jailer to assisting in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program, has not gone unnoticed. Despite being a part-time employee until this past October, Officer White has embraced a full-time role with gusto, even engaging with the department's accreditation team.
Residents of Midlothian have been invited to join in celebrating these individuals who dedicate their lives to public service. As stated by the Midlothian Police Department, "Please help us congratulate PSO Todd White for his hard work and dedication to the citizens of Midlothian and the Midlothian Police Department!" Notably, Officer White's commendable service has garnered him numerous commendations in his brief time here from Department supervisors.
