In an effort to find forever homes for shelter dogs, the Milwaukee Police Department has partnered with the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) to highlight adoptable canines on social media. One such dog is Jet, a friendly 2-year-old neutered Terrier who has been waiting for a family since November, according to a post by the Milwaukee Police Department.
The joint initiative features dogs weekly, striving to make connections between animals in need and potential pet owners, the details shared on Facebook reveal that Jet, who has been in the shelter's care since November, boasts a playful disposition and a penchant for giving hugs, MADACC invites interested adopters to visit their facility at 3839 W. Burnham St., Milwaukee during adoption hours, which are 11am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 11am to 4pm over the weekend to meet Jet in person.
