Mountain View Firefighters Join Forces with LA Crews to Battle Wildfires Ravaging Southern CaliforniaSource: City of Mountain View - Fire Department

As the Los Angeles area's wildfires continue ravaging the region, firefighters from neighboring communities, including those from the City of Mountain View, are joining the fray to help contain the blazes. These conflagrations have consumed over 58 square miles, taxing resources and personnel as they struggle against the fierce and unforgiving flames.

According to a social media post by the City of Mountain View Fire Department, the local team, Engine 152, comprised of four firefighters, was dispatched to the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County on Wednesday. Despite the extensive damage done by the fire, the team has been able to complete numerous critical missions, including the safeguarding of a local middle school from the inferno.

The City of Mountain View Fire Department assures residents that despite resources stretched thin across the state, each of the city's five fire stations remains "fully staffed and equipped."
