
A head-on traffic collision occurred on Kraft Street in Clarksville, resulting in road closure and multiple injuries, according to local authorities. The Clarksville Police Department reported that the crash took place just past 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, and has since led to the complete shutdown of Kraft Street between Emerald Hills Drive and the Abra Auto Body Shop. The severity of injuries and the current condition of the victims are yet to be disclosed, with at least two individuals transported to hospitals by ambulance, WSMV reported.
Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media specified the vehicles involved as a black Volkswagen hatchback and a black Ford Escape, which collided near the bridge adjacent to Emerald Hills Drive.
In response to the incident, units from the Clarksville Police, Austin Peay State University Police, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the site. The Clarksville Now also stated that the roadway was congested, suggesting that those in the vicinity should seek alternative routes.
