As reported by WSMV, the Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Department responded to heavy smoke and flames emanating from Crazy C’s Liquidation on West College Street. Despite the frigid temperatures, which were noted to be in the low 20s, crews were able to control the fire after approximately an hour of engagement.

The location's proximity to Murfreesboro Fire Department’s Station 4 allowed firefighters to arrive almost immediately, though they discovered the structure already fully engulfed upon their arrival, as detailed by WGNS Radio. The retailer, known for its variety of discounted merchandise and loyal customer base, now faces the aftermath of the blaze that has destroyed their establishment.
Authorities have confirmed that the building was vacant during the incident, and thankfully, no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office, according to the Murfreesboro TN Fire Rescue Department.
