Early Wednesday morning, a residential structure in northwest Oklahoma City became the scene of a fire. Firefighters were dispatched to a home situated close to the intersection of Hefner Rd. and Western Ave. at around 5 a.m. The Oklahoma City Fire Department, while reflecting on the incident, has yet to provide specifics regarding the origin or potential causes for the fire, as reported by KFOR.
Further insights by KOCO 5 revealed that fire crews, upon arriving at the residence along Northwest 104th Terrace which is near Hefner Road and Western Avenue, confirmed that there were no occupants inside the home at the time of the outbreak and fortunately, there was no reports of any injuries.
News 9 reported on the quick response of firefighters to a house fire near North Western Avenue and West Hefner Road. The firefighters worked hard to put out the flames that had severely damaged the home. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, but officials have not yet shared any results.
