Norcross Woman Charged with Aggravated Assault After Early Morning Shooting in Mansfield

On Monday, Newton County deputies were called to a residence on North Main Street in Mansfield following reports of a shooting. FOX 5 Atlanta reported that when authorities arrived around 2 a.m., they found one victim who was subsequently transported for medical treatment to a local hospital, though the individual's condition remains undisclosed.

At the scene, 28-year-old Brooklynn Addison from Norcross was arrested and has been charged with aggravated assault, along with possession of a firearm to during the commission of a crime.
