Norman residents, be aware of traffic disruptions this evening. Starting today, sanitary sewer work will take place near McGee Drive and West Lindsey Street. The eastbound lane on Lindsey Street and the southbound lane on McGee Drive will be closed starting at 7 PM.
According to the City of Norman release, the closure is part of ongoing maintenance to the city's sewer system. While there may be delays, the work is expected to finish by 6 AM the tomorrow. All lanes should be open by then.
"Motorists should travel with caution in this area and adhere to all traffic control signage," as per the City of Norman.
