
An apartment fire in Tempe resulted in one individual suffering from injuries, according to a report from Sunday morning. The incident occurred near Dobson Road and University Drive. As per ABC15, the flames were significant enough to be captured on video as fire crews arrived.
Tempe Fire Medical Rescue, alongside Mesa Fire and Medical Department, was dispatched around 9 a.m. to confront the blaze, which had taken hold of an apartment on Acorn Avenue, situated near Loop 101 and University Drive. According to AZFamily, details about the identity of the injured or the specifics of their injuries are still unclear. Fire officials confirmed the injuries sustained were non-life-threatening.
The person affected was transported to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and is reportedly in stable condition, as stated by fire officials to ABC15. The extent of the displacement caused by the fire to other residents in the apartment complex is currently undefined.
